We badly need some fly screens in this place: the few windows that have them have ones with more holes than screen.  Whisky has stuck his nose through the lounge room one so often it's more hole than screen now.

I just cleaned the kitchen, made myself and Jack cups of tea, got the milk out of the fridge thinking that maybe having to go to the supermarket tonight (for second dinner) was good after all, and promptly spilled at least a litre of the stuff on the floor.  And the walls.  And the heater.

No idea why.  I am obviously losing my hand-eye

I made myself dinner tonight - scrambled eggs, English muffin, last of the avocado - walked upstairs, tripped and pretty much threw the plate at the wall.  Messy!  And so annoying.  It is hard enough to be bothered cooking (such as it was) anyway, let alone making second dinner.

Yesterday, while running, I passed a guy running the other way, with a discman.  That's so ... nineties.

He was also wearing a T-shirt that said 'Australian Idle', which is obviously meant to be a play on words, but of course, he wasn't idle at the time ... I wasn't sure if that made it ironic or not.  (Alanis?)

I am sitting on my bed, with a cup of chai tea and a choc chip cookie, the rain lashing against the window pane and a vase of bright flowers by my side.
