Oh, hi, LiveJournal. It's been a minute, hasn't it? Everyone's just kind of all over the place and I utilize all kinds of social media that I haven't revisited my old haunts. But I wanted to today! I really want to try to get into the habit of writing. I need to start posting on my site more and start using that. If you want to follow me over there ( Read more... )

Hello, friend! Obviously we talk on the regular, but I always enjoy reading more from you. <3

Tinkie took me and Amber to the Melting Pot, and it was awesome. I totally want to go again sometime! And that was very sweet of you to call back about the tip!

Oh, hello, friend! That's okay because I always like hearing from you if we vext, talk, or type. Hee. <3

Yesssss! I mean, who doesn't love a good fondue? There used to be one closer to me, but it closed and now there are only far away ones. But I will make the sacrifice, if need be. Aw, thanks! I couldn't have that sit on my conscience. It was such a dumb mistake.

Fondue was so popular in the Seventies -- my mother had a fondue set
and she'd have fondue parties! But I didn't know they still had restaurants!

Looks like it was so much fun!

I remember hearing about these fondue sets and parties from the '70s! I don't know how the idea of cheese or chocolate in a pot ever turned into a bad one because I love dipping things. The Melting Pot was a pretty popular restaurant, I'd say, maybe 10 years ago. Some locations have shuttered, but there still seem to be a bunch around the country. My mom LOVED it! Can't wait to go back.

There was a time back in the late Eighties when every flea market and
garage sale you went to was piled high with fondue pots!

And now I have to order a pot from Target for $40. Haha.

Hey bb!

You're right, I'm hungry now. I've never been to a Melting Pot, but next time I'm in the city I need to go.

You and your mom are so cute. :-)

HI THERE, BB. :D

I know. I did this to you. I am sorry. Yessss, you definitely should, if only for the experience. Cheese, entrees, chocolate. I don't know how you can go wrong. Aww, thank you! We have our fun.
