Just trying to figure out what I was doing 10 years ago!

So I'm looking for entries from 10 years ago and I used to write a lot. I miss that. I kind of have my WordPress arranged so that it's kind of similar to posting here, but I just don't do it as often as I should. I'm going to call that a 2020 goal. And this is what I wrote on December 4, 2009, well, just the subject line:

Very interesting post. I miss reading your stuff here and posting myself. Fandom has changed so much. I wish I had seen Betrayal in London but it was too expensive if you wanted to see well so I forgot about it when I was there. I am always jealous of all the plays that you get to see...

I miss the QAF days, the fans here and the show. There's a new con in London next year but it is super expensive... those people have gone insane... maybe they will reduce prices if they don't sell passes... I can't pay 350 euros for the worst pass they offer... really, they are crazy.

I wouldn't even know where to start with fandom. I guess I see some stuff on Twitter occasionally, but nothing that really had a format the way that LiveJournal did back in the good old days. Betrayal wasn't that expensive in New York. My friend had a good ticket discount and we were in the Orchestra. I definitely feel very grateful that I get to go to New York as often as I do (at least once a year) to see things I really want to see. It feeds my soul!

I miss it, too. I'm curious how much everything is. Maybe I'll go over there and look. I know conventions have sort of become a culture as they are. I wouldn't pay top dollar for something like this, but it seems like people are since there's a demand for it!

I actually have the entire interview -- it's mainly
about doing the Andy Warhol show. I can post
it if you'd like!

And it is December 2009.

Hahaha. I remember that version of him very, very well. I mean, the entry I took that from gave me an idea of what he was talking about in the interview. I just didn't want to hash up old nonsense, but thank you for the offer! I'm sure it's floating around the internet somewhere and someone is wishing it wasn't. The internet is forever.

I miss this. I miss being obsessed with something?

You and me both! I keep waiting for the next thing to come along, but...
