Loved the flashbacks and how they perfectly explained why Miranda is, well...Miranda.

That was absolutely lovely. You did an incredible job weaving a narrative that kind of "explains" Miranda without psychoanalyzing her to the point that it takes all the fun out. I really hope you keep writing, because this was awesome!

I really liked the pace of this story. I thought it was really lovely how you interwove the back story with Miranda and Andrea's relationship. And how they were each the other's first choice. Fantastic job!

This was a really interesting twist in the way their relationship developed and I love how you wove Miranda's past into the story seamlessly. That was a great way of showing how Miranda became the person she is in the present day part of this fic.

For your first dwp fic this is amazing and I hope you'll write more for us :D

I'm glad they had a happy ending as it was sad to always see Miranda being stepped over for someone else. Even Miranda thought that something would eventually go wrong in theri relationship based on her past experiences so I'm happy that she was proved wrong this time.

Yeah, I'm great at thinking up a whole bunch of drama, but I can't bring myself to give my characters sad endings... :)

Wow. This is a beautifully told story. The flashbacks created a wonderful texture to the piece. I also loved Miranda's resistance, the slow build of their relationship and the way she assumed that it wouldn't work with Andy, and then the transformation as she realized that this could be it. (And the unexpectedly spectacular sex was fantastic).

I'm really looking forward to seeing more from you in this fandom!

Thank you! Yeah, Miranda thought it wouldn't last, but she failed to see that she was also partly responsible for the failure of her previous relationships. However, I'm a happy endings person, so it all turned out well! :D

Also, unexpectedly spectacular sex is always good!
