We haven't officially signed a lease for the place yet, hopefully that's coming this week. Our first choice is a rather large two bedroom on the edge of campus. It's on a dead end road with a tiny view of the water when the trees are bare. Very cute and quaint. Our second choice is an apartment of the same size downtown. It's this great old building, but it might be a little loud being in the middle of everything and it has a TON of wee steps up to the back door that could prove deadly come oh, SEPTEMBER! =) We need to lunch. You are free always. I must remember this. How does next week look for Bento?
I am the complete opposite. When we went up, it was in the 60's the first evening and then a cold front came through and it was in the 30's in the morning. It was SO nice walking around all day and not breaking a sweat, or having to put my hair up. =)It's gorgeous in the summer, so you can still come for a visit. Tee hee. =)
Oh ya, well, I hope you like it here in da frozen north. When dem snow snakes start comin' out, you're gonna half jump outta your jeans der! Here's hopin' ya remember to pack your chromer and flannels, oderwise you're gonna have no hope of baggin dem bucks, eh? If ya need help with da snow (the pankin' and haulin') I'll be happy to lend ya a shovel.
P.S. I think it's really funny that all the snow pictures you have up have so little snow in them. Those were taken VERY early in the winter. And just a hint, don't buy a skiing jacket like most people who move up here. They're made to keep someone at a moderate temperature when they're being ACTIVE. If you wait till you're up here, I'll help you find a real one.
