nothing like spending a saturday morning at bothell high school playing music. gah... 3 events.. 2 got 1's, but i left before i could find out about the trio. too bad our judge gave everyone 1's. he's the guy that worked with us at western, mr. donnellan.. such a nice guy! i dont know if we made it to state with the small ensembles, but im sure ( Read more... )

haha, I think we had the same judge for our duet .. made it much easier (in the way of being less nervous and all that). That, and the fact that there was 4 or 5 people there (my mom, Kelli, some other parents, and then Mr. Rice) :P I bet we probably got a 2+ or something like that (if that's the one that's worse than 2 .. haha)

you should've seen Mr. Rice after we finished playing .. LOL .. he looked so freaking hilarious that I had to hold back laughter/being scared! Talk about a traumatic 20 seconds .. hehe

he's so awesome.. yet like.. he almost gave everyone 1's.. so id ont know what that really says about you! oooohh rice.. i dotn think he cared anyway. especially with that wmea concert ahead.. such a big ego.. oh well!

haha, it was probably more out of surprise that i could actually play semi-well (considering his comment of how i "must've practiced" after he listened to us a couple weeks back. even though i didn't) i can't wait to see his reaction after the WMEA concert .. i would not be surprised one bit if we see "tears" ;)
