As to trust funds, they're like bank accounts opened for a single specific purpose at some poitn in time. As such they're opened at a fixed interested rate which does nto change oevrtiem with inflation.

At some poitn specified by the creator they "mature" (the proposed duration ends) and may be withdrawn from or re-negotiated into a new trust fund as desired. So it's basically liek a large sum of money left aside for you in a fashion designed to weather any hard times including economy recessions
