Airline "Partnerships"

Delta Codeshare Partners are a friggin' joke! >_< >>I have to re-check my cats and pay the pet fee AGAIN because it's an Alaska Air flight, not Delta. Even though I BOOKED on the DELTA website. But, Delta can sell tickets on other airlines because of their "partnership." That "partnership" does not extend to fees, apparently. What a rip-off. I ( Read more... )

I remember when traveling was easy. I think I was twelve. Plus I had to dress up nice 'cuz flying was a big event -- you get to meet the pilot and see the cockpit and everything. :)

Last flight I went on was in flip flops. It's no longer an amazing event with friendly people -- it's a hope that the TSA lady doesn't yell at you for forgetting to take the keys out of your pocket. -_-

And this partnership stuff is insane -- it is not convenient for anyone. The major companies want the flights to sell but they don't want to take the responsibility that goes with it. That's ridiculous.
