Boxes

>>Jarrad and I have finally gotten together (on Skype) to go through the boxes I've left behind. We wanted to try and lighten the load by getting rid of more stuff. My tummy doesn't feel happy. It's way too hard to get rid of some of this stuff. It should NOT be this hard! >_< I have gotten most of the boxes reduced by half or almost half, plus, I ( Read more... )

Then we have me, who has thrown in the towel and will be just sending home the lot, after I go through it. xD;

Once you two get settled, it's easier to go through stuff. I know I'll be doing a big cleanup soon after I get back to the states myself.

It doesn't make any sense to spend hundreds to send something to the U.S. for disposal rather than disposing of it here.

No, I'm tossing the stuff I plan to toss here (in fact, I've already started,) but I will be selling stuff off in the US, where I can move it easier, and after I can evaluate my collection as a whole. I'm not sending home trash, and you would be silly to think that that is what I meant by my statement. ;) I used to fund my various con trips by selling off old things, no reason I can't take up the seller's mantle again to thin the herd ( ... )

And you also have me, who tossed nearly everything out the window before I left and never looked back ( ... )

And since I can't really get myself into any extra trouble at this point: I'm kinda with Jarrad on those two contentious boxes. It's none of my business and I'm an total ass to say this but, if it were me, I'd get rid of the "papers" box. You want to focus on becoming a baker, not an English teacher anymore. Those materials would serve as a distraction from your new goal. If you ever do return to the ESL biz, there will be more modern books and materials for you to utilize and that box will just be a useless reference pile. And as sweet as the children's gifts are, the point of receiving them was the happiness they gave you at the moment you received them - do those gifts really serve any additional purpose in your life when you would need them in the future ( ... )

>>*hugglesnuggle* Oh Prancer, I could never be mad at you for being so honest with me. It hurts, don't get me wrong, but the truth hurts sometimes. Since you're saying it to, it's easier to give in to the idea ( ... )

I hesitated on saying anything, but you always give me the truth when I need it most, even when it hurts, and that has always helped me out a lot. I want to do the same for you, even if I end up coming off as clumsy and annoying ( ... )
