Sometimes I wonder if I just wasn't born for the quiet office life. I just can't sit still and sustain the crushing silence of administrative work for longer than an hour, tops, then the faint buzzing of restlessness gets louder

Can you listen to music while you work? I can't, personally, but I have a lot of co-workers in cube-land who find it helpful. The lack of daylight is what gets to me...especially in the winter.

Ohhh yes, the lack of natural light -- used to KILL me at the Trib. You start to feel like one of those albino fish.

And Steph, when was the last time you watched Office Space?

Yes, yes!! Office Space is a must for cubicle-dwellers. And if you occasionally indulge in daydreams about Jurassic Park velociraptors-in-the-kitchen-style action sequences occuring in your aisles, that also helps save your sanity.

LOL, I'm such a Walter Mitty!...and the kitchen scene was one of my favorites from Jurassic Park. I'm totally going to imagine that next time I wander the hallway^_^

And maybe I can daydream about kicking the wall of my cube down and gutting a fish while I'm at it ;)
