Graphic Novels

DH brought me home a GN called Fables. I ran out and got the rest of them and now I'm, strangely, addicted. I've been reading several others and I'd be interested in suggestions from those who have favorites they'd like to recommend.

Fables is wonderful, and it kills me that I can't find two of the volumes. I'm sure they're in storage, so I refuse to buy replacements (so far) so I can share them with lindylousmith, who is becoming quite a fan of good comics.

For more wonder and less dark, try Bone by Jeff Smith. For more dark and less fantasy, try 100 Bullets by Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso. For something more SF, try Y: The Last Man by Brian K. Vaughn and Pia Guerra.

I've already looked at Bone but it wasn't to my taste. I will look for the others.
Thanks.

Hey, I love Fables too. Also, you should try Promethea. If you imagine really hard, you can even be Promethea.
