Gilded robot angels. From another planet. The damn camera work they were using... What are they thinking? Or am I giving them too much credit assuming they're thinking at all? "Ooh, let's toss in some Jesus, that'll make it all philosophical!" Gah, that just gets worse the more you think about it.
an actor who is more suited to Howdy Doody-- Come to think of it, he'd be pretty good as Steve on "Blue's Clues". "Which shape is Blue pointing to? Is it the Square?" "Noooo! It's the tri-angle!" The lack of dignity; there's a good point... I think he might've been being unfair to cartoons. The better half of them, at any rate. Take Bugs Bunny. Bugs Bunny had panache. ^^ Even Daffy Duck...

But, yeah. It's funny, someone on my LJ just last night commented that since she noticed certain mannerisms in The Infinite Quest, she can't see Tennant as anything other than a cartoon!
