If they think they're doing a video about a "cool character", I think I'll be sick, but I decided to leave a bluntly honest review! Intentionally or not, Ten is shown to be a petty little shit, isn't he?

God, I honestly despair of people who find him charming.

On a tangent, have you seen some of those pictures of Tennant as Hamlet? He looks like a right idiot, but I'm sure some people find them adorable.

Well, I don't know exactly what they think of Ten, but I'm pretty sure they were playing it straight, so that'd mean their view of him's ambivalent at best. I'm happy to even see ambivalent, and it's pretty damn effective at illustrating the point, I thought. And to this day, anyone saying "hey, this Ten bloke, something a bit iffy there" makes me disproportionately happy. And they matched it all to the lyrics astonishingly well.

Of course, the trouble is, evidently most of Ten's fans are actually aware that he does all this and are content to view it as a cool "part of his character". Tragic flaw or wounded or "deep" or some sort of BS. Most people just don't seem to take it as a dealbreaker, to which, well, despair. But maybe it'll make someone think.

*sigh* I don't mind so much that people find him charming, or hot, or clever, or even sexy. It's that they find what he does acceptable. Some days, after some eps, this honestly terrifies me. Probably why I liked the video-- don't you understand what you're condoning? Don't you
