(Holy Timeskip Batman!)

I never thought I'd have kids. Seriously. That was something that just wasn't going to happen. Now I have four. Three girls and a boy. A pubescent girl. A girl who thinks she is just like her big sister, only with better fashion sense. A girl who is still adjusting to being in a family again and trying to figure out just why her birth mother isn't ( Read more... )

You are rambling. I would not cry over destroyed opponents. I glued a few of the severed straw figures together and she said I just didn't get it. Can you enlighten me?

Noriko fell asleep. I just tucked her in. Eve and I are watching...something that's colorful and rated G.

Private to Terry

All of that sounds good. Especially the meat. I'll dig up the extra futon.

You love my rambling. I was able to stop myself this time. It's the hormones. She has been like that all week. She'll be getting her first period soon. Your brother is probably going through the same thing with Asoka.

I'll be in there in a minute. I'm going to finish feeding Kentarou and put him to bed. Kanya is staying in her room tonight. Might want to warn Eve to be quiet when she goes to bed.

Private to Genichirou

I wonder if we should just let them stay in Noriko's room. She's been sneaking into bed with us every night anyway so a week extra won't be too bad. She's bringing bbq sauce and anything else she can manage to get through customs. Can you believe we've been married 7 years already? Well...in three days anyway.

Sometimes it can be very impressive. ....Oh.

All right. I'll let Eve know, she's falling asleep on me as we speak.

Private to Terry

That might be a good idea. Mm. ...It doesn't feel like seven years.

I am just impressed that you pay attention to me when I start. I don't know how to help her. I might have her spend the day with Amaya soon so they can talk about it.

Kentarou just rolled over to your side of the bed. I almost want to say we might have some time to ourselves but I don't want to jinx anything.

Private to Genichirou

Yuki offered to talk to Noriko a bit. I think it might help her, and she trusts Yuki. How much are you drooling now? The sauce she's bringing is amazing. You'll love it. It's been amazing. I think we have the best and most amazing family around.

Terry...Your family sounds so very wonderful. I am very happy for you. I would love to meet your children and play with them. I always loved kids, even if they use me as a huge jungle gym.

I'm glad that you are Sanada have such a good life. I hope Keigo will say yes and that I can have just as happy a marrage

You really should visit soon, Kabaji. You haven't met Noriko and Kentarou yet, and Kanya has been wondering when she can watch you and Genichirou spar again. Eve...well, she wants everyone to take her shopping so I will save you from that.

Thank you. We have to work for it (especially with all the kids and animals running around), but it's worth it. He will. And you both will be even happier than you are now.

I would love to visit. I haven't met your other children. I would love to. I also need to get you your anniversary present.. And tell Kanya and Sanada that I will definitely spar against her father. As for young Eve...I've been dating Keigo for ten years, I think I can stand a shopping trip with a little girl.

It sounds wonderful, even with all the hard work. I hope so. I'll let you know how it goes when I do it

I was going to talk to Genichirou about maybe having a barbeque and inviting a bunch of people. Of course both you and Atobe will be invited. My mother and father it still kind of feels weird to say that, but I guess that's how it is when you're adopted at 24 are going to be down for our anniversary on Sunday and are staying for the week. I'd like for them to meet my friends.

A shopping tip for when you happen to be out with Eve...don't look right into the puppy dog eyes. You will cave. Has Atobe succeeded in getting purple into your wardrobe? If not, Eve will and you won't even know it.

It's great. I am so thankful that I met him. I will be waiting. And we will have to have celebratory ice cream or something when he says yes.

Maybe you're rambling, but it's still the sweetest ramble I've read/seen in quite a while, Terry-chan. Congrats ~

Awww, thanks An-chan. It just still amazes me that I have kids now - a family of my own. I love it. Would you and Ohtori-kun like to come over?

I still have to wonder how you deal with such a crazy house. I have troubles with just 1 kid, and he's not even as old as your girls. And it is adorable when they call you 'mom' and 'mommy'!

I love it. I think it has a lot to do with the girls and how many there are. Kanya fits into the role of big sister perfectly, and loves showing the other two things and playing with them. Kentarou just loves being loved. He is such an adorable baby. And KenKen is just a few months younger than Noriko, so I am sure that those two together would probably take over the world.

The kids call me "mommy" in English. I love it.

And An's Nanoha is about the same age as Noriko and KenKen. Let's hope the three don't decide to team up and try to take over the world. If it was just Noriko and KenKen, we might be able to stop them, but if it's all three, I'm not sure we could.

That's even more adorable, that they call you 'mommy' in English! Are you guys going to have them all be bilingual?

You haven't seen the plans for world domination yet. Trust me...my kids have them already and are looking to add people to their army. KenKen will be recruited, I'm almost sure of it. Noriko is the leader, Kanya is the general and Eve is designing the uniforms for the army. I'll show you what she has when you come over. KenKen and Nanoha are both going to be vice presidents - mainly because they didn't want to split the three youngest up and have one of them left out. Kentarou is absent from the plans, probably because "all he can do is drool". This was from Eve the other night.

I want them to understand both languages. It will make things easier for them when we go to visiting overseas.

Who cares if it's rambling, the kids are adorable. =) Mom melts every time one of them calls her Grandma. I'm definitely coming by tonight to see them-and to tell Eve good luck on trying to get Gen-chan to color coordinate. I've been trying since we were kids.

Would you like for me to talk to Noriko? We do a lot of counseling for adoptions and adopted children. From the way she acts and what you're saying here, it sounds to me like she's scared you guys will go away and she'll be alone again.

Mom and Mrs. Campbell can sit there and bask in all of the attention. She's coming up for our anniversary and plans on babysitting on Sunday for us. I won't tell them you're coming. Just walk in and surprise them, but be prepared to be tackled and hugged to death. I think Eve just does it to see the look on his face. It is really funny.

Can you talk to her? I've tried to reassure her that we aren't going anywhere, and that she is our daughter and will stay with us. It breaks my heart at night because she won't go to sleep unless one of us is there with her, and even after we go to bed she manages to climb in with us.

Wow, I haven't seen her since your wedding! I'll have to drop by to say hi. And I am looking forward to getting tackled and hugged to death. =) Being with my friends who have children remind me that there are healthy children and good parents out there. And I shall give Eve the history of the Overalls.

Sure, no problem. I can take her out to a bookstore and for some ice cream. She won't even know that I'm trying to figure out what's going on. And yeah, Noriko's clinging really is a sign of fear. It's common in adopted kids.

Well, since our anniversary is on Sunday she decided to come up. Said it wasn't fair that my Japanese mother was able to be here for all of them when my Canadian mother wasn't. I know Kanya remembers her but I'm not sure about Eve. She was only 5 when we went over there so I could have the reduction. I'm just glad that we're doing a decent job with them. Sometimes I wonder, and it's giving me grey hairs. And...you are trying to give Eve nightmares, aren't you ( ... )
