Fun things to do at AU over the summer

Hey guys,  I am coming home from college this summer to live with my parents, who have a house right near American University.  I will be taking classes at American.   Are a lot of students around AU in the summer or is the campus mostly empty?  Do a lot of people party during the summer?

There are some students but the campus is mostly empty during the summer. But why would you waste your time hanging around AU when you have the entire city at your disposal??

Well, I lived in DC for 18 years, so its nothing new to me.

I never hang around AU, this will be pretty much the first time I'll be on campus.

Yeah, I would say 75% of student scatter back home. Also, the partying during the summer sure as hell doesn't happen on campus.
