*sigh*
Looks like I'm gonna have to invest in some more energy drinks for now. And, I announced to my family that I am going back to my Baptist roots and never, ever, celebrating Lent again.

Everything I have read on sleeping health, your sleep needs change as you age. And 90% of Americans are sleep deprived. I have to aim for 8 hours a night to feel my best. I can function at 7, but it's a cumulative effect of functioning less and less until I have caught up.
Make sure your getting enough Vitamin D and I rely on 3mg of melatonin every night about an hour before bedtime. That's to make sure my body is actually sleepy despite what the stupid Daylight Savings Time is telling it.

Yes, I know that you're supposed to get 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night, but I just don't have time for it. In fact, I just worked 23 hours and I only got two hours of sleep and I can't go to be early because I have so much to do. Give me another day or so and I'll enter that zombie-like state.
I've heard of taking melatonin before, but I've had such bad reactions with sleep aids that I stayed away from it. And yeah, Daylight Savings is a pain in the butt.
