So I have wasted another weekend doing nothing while having plans of accomplishing everything. Oh well.
There is always tomorrow. Only five more days until the Austin City Limits Music Festival and then that will be a weekend.

So we had the year end reward breakfast today. I won an award. I will receive a pin and am now a member of the "Magic Circle". Bob is now calling it the Harry Potter Pin. I consider it an acknowledgement of being a runner up for the NM Best award. Regardless, an award for my hard work ( Read more... )

I spent the day with Ana. It was her birthday today. She lost her husband just over a year ago and her son and grandson couldn't come visit her cause her grandson was sick. Well, what a week...Unbelievable. So they are bussing people in from New Orleans to Houston. I hope the best for all the people who are without house or home. Well, my birthday was on Tuesday. One of the ladies baked me a cake, it was delicious. Then Carmen took me to lunch in the cafe and that was wonderful. The days pass my by too quickly, I have too many words to say. I am falling asleep as I think them.

ya hooo!!!! Although it flooded the streets. And one of the things I hate about houston is that no one here can drive in weather. I grew up with snow storms and downpours and things still flowed. I can't breath outside. The heat is unbearable. I am still sick but almost 100% again. I am totally bumming though. My family is all home and I can't be there with them. That makes me sad. HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I am still feeling low and still can't hear out of my left ear. I slept until about 2pm. Now I have made way to the couch and am barely watching Dogma, that movie rocks.
