mid-fic (?) update

Hi! Not dead! Just working on this one Pudge fic, still. It's up over 35K words and I've almost got him done in Florida. I know, I know. I'm thinking I might heavily gloss over New York just to get it done faster. And really, would anyone miss his brief interlude as a Yankee? It's all about Posada over there anyways. Right? Right

And yeah, I had some stuff I thought I might tie into his NY tenure (since one of the main supporting characters also played for the Yankees at one point), but now I figure by the time I get to that point, I'll just want the fucking thing done already-- and he was barely a Yankee, hopefully no one will get too crazy, foaming-at-the-mouth, how-could-you-skip-this?! about it. ;)

Ugh, I know. But that covers from 1991 to 2003, so it's not that crazy, right? I just keep feeling like I need more explanation, I can't have this or that thing just come out of nowhere, it needs more background! More! And then wait, I need more baseball in here! And then more of his family! And then it's thousands of words later and the story has advanced, like, one day.
