Ok, so really quick I am updating the journal. First week of teaching kids was horrible...students have no respect, no care, no drive. I was really upset Friday, and really needed a break from work so I headed up to home in Rock Hill and had a blast bowling with friends, shopping saturday with hennifers and seeing a movie. So day three of teacher work days....open house tomorrow night, and I'm ready for that like it's no ones business. As much as I am learning from these teacher work days, I'm going to be sooo freakin happy to see student faces Monday, they may all get hugs (i'm serious...i miss TEACHING right now). Watched my favorite "I'm gonna cry" movie tonight. I really needed that type of cry today...don't ask why just did. At any rate, this Monday basically starts my teaching @ Edisto...I still feel like I've failed by going back there, but I guess there is nothing I can do about that for now. I dont understand why i still get phone calls from this area about jobs....it's killing me really it is. This morning I heard from a rock hill middle school, which for this lj will remain nameless. I'd rather not hear from these schools so i would feel as though my only choice was to take the edisto job...instead i'm missing a home that i haven't ( Read more... ) -
Job discussion
Well I have a job, it's not where I wanted to be but it's a job. I'm back at the ole high school Edisto...yes I'll be teaching those Cougars...should be interesting. I'm getting a bit nervous about it. I mean I know I'm confident with the subject, but the responsibility of those kids, I dont take so lightly. Time will tell and updates will come ( Read more... )
