Over Paid, Over Sexed, and Over Here

And Unfortunately I am none of those..

So after realizing that I havent updated my journals in forever..I decided tonight to be the night that I actually get off my rear end and do something about it.

To start off Im going to let you in on where my life is at the moment...

The non-fiction book sounds awesome.

Taking a conflict as intense and enormous as World War II and putting it into the context of an individual soldier really makes the subject matter accessible (re: Stephen Ambrose and Shelby Foote). I love reading stuff like that, personally.

Yeah but what will be different from me and Ambrose will be that I'll actually take time in researching the stuff, not kind of researching it..

To the end reader, what matters is the ability for the reader to connect with the subject matter. My example speaks nothing of the accuracy of his writing, but his ability to take a huge conflict and humanize it so that it captured the interest of millions of readers.

I want to write a book, non fiction. About exactly what I just wrote up above. Michigan military history...
