Maybe this part of me hopes people would remember me, next week I turn 24. Last year nobody remembered, I had to remind people..... and I got many last minute attempts at showing kindness

Things'll get better *hugs you* I don't think it really helps you much that you're feeling left alone so close to your birthday date. I know from experience that I tend to get in the gutter too, but I usually pull out a day or two before if I'm lucky. The way I figure it, I won't let myself down. People are forgetful.. we know that right? I mean, I don't claim not to be either. La mémoire est une facultée qui oublie après tout. But every little thing you do and don't has meaning to some person or another whether you know it or not. Have you never thought about something that someone did or said and knew that to them it was some anodyne thing? But to you... anodyne would be completely besides the track? I remember once, my friends and I were doing gymnastics and I pretty nearly sprained my ankle. This one girl that I was friends with did something so simple and so thoughtful, that she never really took heed of it. She came up to me while I was in pain and asked me about some course related subject :) Now to anyone else

"I guess what I'm trying to say is that people remember, even if you might not think they do. You've changed lives Ben, and you'll continue to, trust me :) Just tend to your need and make yourself strong again, you know as well as I that you have it in you to do it."
