Congratulations on the interview and good luck with getting the job!! That would be awesome experience!
When they interview for a job like that, do they want to know just about your experience, etc., or do they ask you all about your political ideals and whatnot??
Thank you, it *would* be an awesome experience! They're a great organization.
They want to know a little bit about everything. For tax reasons these non-profit organizations are non-partisan. They are neither Republican or Democrat. And that makes for very creative wording. So one can only describe it as left-leaning/liberal or right-leaning/conservative. I've never really had them ask me about my politics and have always taken the initiative to describe my politics to them. But then again, my resume is pretty telling. It's blatantlly obvious that I'm a conservative. This particular organization tends to be right-leaning but there are a lot of Libertarian influences. But I basically told him that if I wasn't in line with their mission/beliefs, I wouldn't have wasted my or his time applying for the job.
Yep! Oooh, okay! Cool! Do you ever go to caribou? I grabbed a coffee and a chocolate coisannt (sp?) after my interview..... Jesus, the coffee tasted like burnt ass and the pastry was cold (which destroys the potential soft chocolaty goodness.
