I went to a camp last year that centered around taking one class for three weeks, and while it was more structured than pre-college, it was really fun, even with the homework. Spain sounds like the most fun to me personally because of the academic environment, but they both sound like awesome programs. What kind of classes are you thinking about taking at pre-college?

The class choices are mainly spanish, spanish, and more spanish. I would probably take the intermediate course for Espanol, which includes 2 hours of language study and then another hour of another type of Spanish study, like English to Spanish translation, business vocab, and Spanish History and Literature. I could take other non-credit courses like Flamenco dancing.

And let me guess...you went to CTY? Which site? I have heard about quite a few.

That sounds cool. :D Translating stuff is so fun. And addictive, and fun. And fun.

Yeah, I took Existentialism at Carlisle (Dickinson). Really fun stuff.

i think both sound amazing

i personally would go for Costa Rica
cus the Spain sounds too school like (but more fun then school) (for my tase anyways) and i know costa rica is an awesome country, one of my friends in DK lived in Costa Rica for Most of her life (denmark for the other 1/4, however she was dutch but spoke english, along w/ danish and dutch at home and sometimes spanish... go fiigure) but she really liked costa ricca. Also community service is awesomeness to the max times infinity suared, beneficial to both you and others that need help

however spain sounds really cool aswell, sounds kinda similar to what Laura did in the balkins. She as scared for not knowing he family of people at all (or any of the lang in her case) but these sorts of programs will be sure your in a good home and your a very affiable person so you'll def be good with new people.

either way you go i think you'll have great time and be happy w/ your decision

no amy all summer again :(
you will be missed by me too!!

i agree with clara
because you're going to be going to college for four years of your life, might as well try something different-and even though it's college in spain, which is mas cool, there are study abroad programs when you're actually in college
