I'd say go a little shorter than shoulder length for your haircut, and "kinda curly" is kinda cool... well, actually, it is cool, lol.

my hair is totally naturally curly. well, sorta. if I blow dry it, it's kinda straight. if it dries naturally, it's got kinda wavy curls in it. maybe if I wasn't lazy and did something with it in the morning...
