HOLY EFFING LORD...that was...that was.....argh, so brilliant, so beautiful, so perfect, so heart-wrenching...there are just no words. I don't have any because I can't think and my mind is blown away. JUST BLOWN AWAY! Amazing. I don't even know where to begin to discuss...

Draco was perfectly believable as a man on a quest, redeemed, on the path of righteousness. One who wears a mask to get through his day for the greater good. And Hermione - broken, nearly unrecognizable as the girl from so long ago. Instead a woman trying to survive each moment, let alone a day. I love how Voldemort's presence was everywhere yet you never saw or heard him.

You can see me but I'm clapping...really, I'm clapping.

I loved the ending. I loved that it wasn't a happily ever after and the world wasn't magically saved from Voldy. I wasn't expecting Draco's death, but it made the story better. Sad things happen in sad times.

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for reading!

Yea, it's a pretty sad story, but with a prompt like Sampson and Delilah, I just could help myself! Love me some angst! :)

To be perfectly honest, I have no clue who/what is "Sampson and Delilah". I figured it wasn't that essential to understanding the story.

Lol! Sampson and Delilah is actually a story from the bible. You don't really need to have read that story to enjoy mine, though. I just used certain elements of the story, i.e. how delilah betrays Sampson for money.
