Both of those affected me quite a bit too. I was also pretty crushed when Mr Hooper died on Sesame Street, but I really liked the way they dealt with it (Big Bird was all upset and he talked to people about it).

The one that affected me the most would have to be Douglas Adams. I always wanted to meet him, his writing inspired me so much when I was young, and his death was so sudden. I couldn't believe that any chance I had of meeting him was suddenly gone. I also would have liked to have had the opportunity to meet Robert Anton Wilson too.
