Mother's Day

I just realized that Sunday is Mother's Day...  It's the first time I won't be in Japan on that day, and I'm not sure what to do with myself on Sunday...

I know how you feel. I was out of the country for both her birthday and our anniversary last year. Made me feel both extremely guilty and neglectful. I suppose that if you didn't have plans we could have lun...coffee in the morning. (can't eat because of his surgery the next day)

Try not to let it upset you. I know you'll pay her a visit when you're back in Japan. She preferred that you made random days special any way, not just the important holidays.

I know she did, but it feels strange to be unable to make the extra effort. I suppose I'll just have to do something special for my own little piece of her memory.

I agreed with Hiashi-sama, a lady like Hinata-sam is to be treated with respect. I myself has never known my mother, and yet I understand Hinata-sama´s feelings.
