They called us today and it turns out that we really did only need the marriage certificate, so it was the woman who served us who was being a total git. The woman is sending us a letter confirming this so that we don't get hassled again when we go to get Chris' name changed. Guess it's simpler than having to tell work, the Bedford Council Tax

Me too! Chris' name has been officially changed now... although we've yet to do this on our ISAs... should probably do that one day. The kicker is that I'm near a Barclays tomorrow since my car's having its MOT and I'm hanging out with my mum all day, but I left the marriage certificate in Bedford. That was clever.

Not even sure there's a Barclays in Bedford... No, I don't think there is.
