I guess I need to update regularly or Livejournal will decide I don't need to see entries older than two weeks? I was skimming through the past 20 friend's list and there isn't a link to go back farther than that. Oooookaaaayyy

Oh! I wanted to ask you for help - a friend of mine is writing a paper on Roma, and I was going to ask you if you could help her, since you're really knowledgeable about Roma and their culture. Would you at least think about it, or consider it?
Work always has its ups and downs. And therapists, particularly those who understand Asperger's syndrome, are good at helping to develop strategies for dealing with the idiots, schmucks and less printable titles that every workplace has.
I'm sorry the help you need and deserve has to be so expensive. That's unfair and wrong. Have you discussed the problem with your T? Sometimes they'll work with you if there's a solid therapeutic relationship, you need the help and your finances are standing between you and access to treatment. The worst they can say is no, and they might say yes.
I'll private message you a whole bunch about disability benefits because posting it here would totally hijack your thread.

I'd say her fee is reasonable compared to what I paid the psychologist she referred me to. o_O;; I thought I'd be paying more for the T, according to what my sister was paying her when she saw her a few years back. So, I think she did the best she could with her fee.
Thank you for the info in the PM. I'm going to send it to my T to get her thoughts on it. To be honest, just reading it made me want to shy away, but I'm not giving up yet. I'm not looking to live solely off the benefits, I just want to get a little help so I don't have to bend over backwards at work just to get enough hours to maintain myself.
