These are the times that I feel like such an idiot.
Went to work on old comp in kids room this morning. Tried it again, didn't work. Pulled all the plugs out to open it up and see if I could see anything that might have come loose. That is when I noticed the second monitor slot.

I don't feel so bad now.
But I have decided, that all of my computers will continue to be laptops (the only thing I need to worry about are power cords and printer cables, when needed); everything else is attached.
However, I will still be the one to set up everyone elses computers. At least as long as my brother isn't living close by. You know I think that is why he stays in the military -- he doesn't have family perstering them about computer set-ups. No one has figured out that he is the brains in that department and I'm just good at using them as a glorified typewriter. ;)
