As far as I understand, Obama is only going to increase the taxes on the rich leaving the middle class alone and easing taxes on the poor.
One truism I've noted lately is "There are only two types of Republican, the rich and the fool." It seems to be true.
If any middle to low income people are "teabagging" (heh) in protest at these changes then they're falling for one of the longest standing American falsehoods. That is " we have to defend the rich because some day we might be rich ourselves". Fools the lot of them.
