Anyone REALLY need a computer or know of a charity organization or something really in need of one? I have a spare E-machine so it's a really rather crappy computer but I plan to wipe it and buy XP from the school to put on it. It would work just fine for word processing and internet surfing. The only problem being that it's here in Iowa with me so

My mother donated our old PCs to a group that gives them to battered women and other people in need of a new start, but that was in FL -- I could ask if she remembers what it was called, they may have people in Iowa too. They even took our 486!

Ya, that would be really cool if you could find out the name of the organization. That's exactly the type of place I want to donate to. I didn't want to give to Salvation Army or anything like that because they'll just sell it in the thrift store.
