Kind of a Bio. Kind of Poetic. Kind of Pointless....

Sep 11, 2009 08:46

Okay, so it occurred to me today that amongst all the posts I write, I rarely post about myself, and therefore my friendlist (on the whole) probably doesn’t know a whole lot about me. That said; I’m not going to post a huge dissertation about myself. Nope. Just some random bits of information that should give you clues to what I’m like as a person ( Read more... )

real life, random, poetry

I'd love to see my mother any time, but she still lives in Florida while I'm back in the UK, so I send things to her. Poem/stories/letter and short vids are all just my way or reminding her I'd much rather be there to give her a hug.

And I think your mother is probably more grateful than you know that she can see you any time. Because mothers are awesome. All of them.

You're a year younger than me!

That poem was SO good. I love how you said that your mother wrote your character. *tears* I'd give it to my mom if I thought she'd understand it. XD She's sorta slow when it comes to poems.

Where in Florida did you go to school? And excuse the extremely rude question and it's not that it matters, but what's your ethnicity? I just find such things interesting to know. :P

I always tell my mother I woudn't be the person I am without her. Of course, I didn't find that out until AFTER I moved out and 3,000 miles away. -_-

Cool! We would have been in the same year in high school. Due to a mix up when I first moved to the US, I was put a year ahead (-with my older sister!?-) and they never bothered to correct it when my grades were fine. LOL

Incidently, I went to Deltona High School, Volusia County. And don't worry, I don't see ethincity as a rude question, especially as there is nothing obvious in my posts or bios that points it out. Anyway, I'm caucasian (white), and British by birth and deed. ^_^ Mind if I ask you the same question?

I never began to appreciate my mom until I got into college and became more independent either. I guess that's how it is.

Some poeple can be hyper sensitive when it comes to race. COOL! Do you have the neat accent? I'm half filipino and half scot-irish! FUN! ^^

I think the only people who have issues with race are the people who decide to take issue with race for themselves. Even if you're in a minority, claiming 'entitlement' for it os an act of discrimination to yourself and invites discrimination from others. Well, thats just what I think, and it's not ALWAYS the case, just 90% of the time.

I do indeed have an English accent. But before I moved to florida, it was a Welsh accent (totally different). I have no idea how that happened. Probably something to do with classmate asking me "to say something 'in English'!" and then me forcing myself to sound more English for their entertainment.

Ah, yours is much more interesting! So who is it, your mother or father, who is the half-Scottish, half-Irish hybred? XD

You're five years older than me! And you and I have the same number of siblings ;) What do you think of them? Lots of my friends think it's a hassle having so many siblings, but I think it's fun to have someone to yell/play/generally mess around with XD And I always wonder what's it like to have an older sibling.

And that poem... it's so beautiful T_T On mother's day, I'll give my mom a hug and make her a breakfast when she wakes up(I always plan to give her a brekky-in-bed, but I can never seem to wake up earlier than her XD)

I Love having siblings! I NEVER had my own room until I moved out, and me and my older sister fought a lot when we both entered our early teens, but I still love it! And growing up, even when they bullied me, my older brothers were my heroes, and they always looked out for us.

Breakfast in bed... that sounds good. I'd probably try to do something like that if my mum weren't still in Florida. But yeah, I never could wake up before my mum either. Maybe it like a super power all mother have?

Ooh! I love these things.
Let's see, writing poems for mom since you were 15 is amazing! I've never done that, since my I feel the irrational need to rhyme my poems and it sounds silly after awhile and she'll end up laughing after reading the first two lines and that just defeats the purpose.
A year younger than me and you're working already!
And! You're in Wales. Which is kinda close to me. Kinda. LOL. I fail in Geog, I should say it now.

Qustions... let's see.
Do you have a pet?
And favorite pairing?
And past time activities?
And... you don't hate random strangers that bombs your comment box with questions and inappropriate comments, do you?

It had to be done. Lately (probably because of my fanfiction) a lot of people have been adding me before they know much about me except me name. That said, I wasn't going to write my life story. It's 21 years long, after all. XD ( ... )
