So, I went and saw X-men III last night. We went to the Shelton drive-in, which was cool, and I went with Sara and Wes, which was also cool. Yet... As a childhood fan of X-men the cartoon, and a light reader of one of the comic incarnations, I can say that I really disliked the movie. I was pissed. SO pissed. NOT going into any detail, but

The only thing that was good was the hot guy with the wings. Although it seemed sort of choppy how they placed him and his storyline.

I have to see it a second time with my dad tonight too. I guess it's okay...okay it's Xmen so I don't mind watching it again just to see people in tights with flashy powers, but it was like the worse movie they ever made. My mom who had never seen any of the Xmen movies or cartoons actually walked out of the theatre saying it was really good, but I felt kind of ticked at the deaths and sort of empty.

Got to read the comics now just to see what the real story is, only know bits and pieces from the cartoon. :/

The guy who played Angel in that movie totally also plays this bisexual artist in the last couple seasons of Six Feet Under.

It was really weird seeing him in X-III after seeing him as Russel for so long. ^^'
