Just found out this morning that as of February 9th, my immediate area no longer has bus service. That's right, the Duvall/Coal Creek closure is causing both the 240 and 114 to bypass my entire hill, and just scuttle right down Sunset ( Read more... )

On the other hand, you've been wanting to get a car, so this just helps expedite it, although in the most inconvenient way?

Caryn gave me an artical about buying used cars and it said that a good place people normally don't think of is New Car lots. They have trade in cars they wanna unload. most people trade the car in after a year or two so the car's still like new ^^

Gah. I'm gonna need to do this when I come back. I'll mis Japan's convienet mass transit.

Oh my goodness... I would take a packed train for a packed bus ANY DAY. Especially full of quiet, eerily polite Japanese people.
