To my LJ friends: I hope this finds you well. Things continue apace here; my life is stable. I wouldn't call it boring, but not much happens differentlyon a daily basis. All of the mercurial drama from earlier in my life is gone, replaced now by a bedrock of solidity and routine. I've gotten old without really realizing it

There's something to be said for stability You can always rock your own boat, and it's often more fun than when someone else is doing it? :)

I too was surprised at how long it had been since Mr. Jackson died. But then, they kept it in the news for a very long time, so I think that kept it fresh in our minds.

We still have our RX-8, which is in pretty good condition except for a ding in the front wheel-cover 'hood', which was the result of me and an underground parking lot pillar having a disagreement about its existence. (It won.)
