Snowed Out

“Gibbs?” Jimmy blinked when he answered the door. “What are you doing here? It’s a blizzard!”

“That’s why I’m here.”

“Oh. Well, come on in, but the power’s been out for hours, so-”

“No, Palmer, you’re coming with me,” interrupted Gibbs. “I don’t have power, either, but I do have a fireplace.”

“I couldn’t-”

“Hurry up, Jimmy!” yelled Tony, leaning out the window of Gibbs’s truck.

“Close the window, DiNozzo!” Gibbs yelled back. “Move it, Palmer, you’re the last one, and we need to get going before the roads get bad.”

Jimmy grinned. “I’ll get some extra blankets.”
