I'd finished the course of antibiotics but still not feeling like myself :s My hubby found the answer after a hot tub yesterday... I've got another bull's eye rash, inches from the last one! Whaat...is it the same round still or a new one?? If its so contagious then what can be done...cheese louise people might have to disinfect their gardens!

This is a new bite. Question is, where did I get it?

Lyme disease isn't a contagious thing... only passed by blood via the deer tick. It turns out that it doesn't make the deer sick, but the tick does feed on them and is carried by them :s Deer population out of control? Tick population out of control...

DEET deters ticks, but doesn't kill 'em. As far as I know, the only pesticide that does is pemethrin... super toxic to fish and cats. Not summat I want sprayed in my yard. Can't spray it on your skin -you can spray it on your clothing - it will last thru a couple of wash cycles! (nasty stuff)
