As I don't have my trusted acupuncturist anymore - he's moved to Antigua and their Ministry of Health - I've had to muddle along as best I can. Tried another acupuncturist, but he was more like one arm instead of a whole body (and brain), and unaffordable, too. Thanks... I guess I'm in enough pain that I'm willing to take a chance (followed up by an eye exam in a couple of weeks)

Well, if I develop that side effect - which I can monitor and prevent it being permanent - then I won't be able to take that drug anymore. Just gotta hope I don't have any of the bad side effects (eye thing, anaphylactic reaction, hives, nausea). It truly is a case of pick your poison :s

Dr. G's posting in Antigua was supposed to be temporary at first - but I guess they decided to hold onto a good thing. They had tracked him down because of his credentials... not many MDs who are as versed in acupuncture and herbalism, as well.
