“Probie!” said Tony, answering the video call. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”
“There doesn’t have to be a reason,” McGee frowned.
“Every time you say that, there is definitely a reason.”
“Just checking in,” he insisted. “Oh, hey, did Victoria ask you to do her school brain training thing?”
Tony arched an eyebrow. “She did. Why?”
“No reason.”
For a long moment, the two men just stared at each other.
Then, McGee broke, “I can’t figure it out! And it’s supposed to be for children!”
Tony smiled. “Me, neither. But teamwork’s not cheating, right?”
McGee smiled back. “Never.”
