Bra’tac paused as the others left the briefing room. “Yes?”
“Teal’c,” he said. “All that gold make-up he wore when we met. No other Jaffa do anything like that… do they?”
It took effort for Bra’tac to hide his smile. “It was merely part of the expected image as First Prime, as befitted his rank and station.”
O’Neill frowned. “Really?”
Bra’tac held his stern expression for another moment, then admitted, “No, not really. If I understand the Tau’ri phrase correctly, I believe he was… going through a phase.”
O’Neill grinned. “Really?”
“Indeed.”
