“It’s not,” replied McGee, sounding equally stunned. “At least, I don’t think so.”
Tony wasn’t so sure. The whole apartment could have come straight from the 1990s, down to the decades-old electronics, the rack of VHS tapes, the plastic landline phone, and the entire set of neon-colored inflatable chairs.
“Hey, what’s your damage?” Petty Officer Kirkpatrick stood in his doorway, frowning. “You can’t just break into a man’s crib.”
“It was open,” said Tony, holding up his badge. “And we have some questions.”
“Do we,” McGee muttered.
