Phil cupped his face in both hands and kissed him, long and deep, until Clint melted against him, fingers twisted in Phil’s sweater like he never wanted to let go.
“You are,” Phil said, firmly. “And my parents will love you, too.”
“But-”
Phil kissed him again, and Clint relaxed a little more.
“Yeah, okay.”
“Good,” said Phil, and while Clint wasn’t looking, he checked that the little ring box was still in his jacket pocket.
He had big plans for later.
