Yesterday I got my glasses in the mail from Zenni Optical online. The quality doesn't seem too bad for what I paid, $8 for one pair and $9.95 for the other, plus an additional $4.95 per pair for anti-glare coating. Click to see them on my face:

I like the blue frames, but keeping the man satisfied is important.
Did you send your prescription to this Zenni place? That's a great price, but I've never heard of them. I have a pretty heavy prescription. I wonder how that would work. I might have to check them out. Do they do sunglasses?

Zenni has a "form" online that you enter your prescription info into. You'll need to have your doc write down your "PD" measurement on your script, it's not usually on there by default.
When you say "heavy prescription" are you talking about the weight of the lenses or the complexity of the script? They do carry the thinner, lighter weight high-index lenses for a higher cost. I got the standard medium-index and they aren't noticeably heavier than my old glasses which were high-index.
And yes, they do have sunglasses.

I do like the way they look in the pic. I'm not sure what is different about real life... maybe it's just that I never smile when I'm looking at myself in the mirror.
