It is raining cats and dogs and grizzly bears here. The ducks who live in our back yard are so happy. The drainage ditch that runs from the far end of the yard to the pond at the other end is full of water, and they are riding it down to the pond like a waterslide. So cute!

I love having the ducks here. They are so cute, especially the way the males & females pair up and walk around together all the time.

Although this year there seems to be far too few males to go around, so we have this gang of about 7 female ducks wandering around all over the place. It's weird. We hope they are lesbians because roving lesbian duck gangs would just be cool.

That is the one nice thing about this apartment. I really enjoy the wildlife show out there. This morning there was a hawk sitting on the pool area fence, apparently just watching the ducks. Haven't seen him around here before.

Too late... the drainage ditch is empty and the ducks are just wandering around out there now.

I'd have loved to have taken a pic but ever since my kid lost my memory card I've kind of lost interest in the damn camera. It's full of bullshit pictures now that I don't feel like taking off there.
