Every so often I'll get someone abusive on the phone, someone who whines like a three-year-old to get their way, and all I can think is, "How small a person you must be; How I pity you."

One of mine was something along the lines of an every-call-from-this-person, "This is unacceptable," and my reply of, "But you seem to be accepting it by not going elsewhere."

...or the time the boss said to me (about the same guy), "If he calls back, tell him I said to fuck off!" (Too bad a coworker got that call.) One does not get their way by pissing off the owner/manager. ^_^
