Today after brunch and mimosas in the East Village Risa and I walked over the Brooklyn Bridge in the most perfect weather. Blue skies, white clouds, warm sun, cool breeze.... it was all there. So that concert was SICK.
But it looks like they're cancelling their appearance at Sarasota, NY.
Weezer will still be playing.

Weezer was like.. amazing. Greatest hits concert. Hash Pipe, Troublemaker, Sweater Song, Surf Wax, Perfect Situation, (the new song) I want you to, Say It Ain't So, My Name is Jonas, Island in the Sun, Pork and Beans, Beverly Hills, Buddy Holly, and finished with a Clash cover -Should I Stay or Should I Go?
I was surprised that Blink didn't cancel the Hartford show. Then again, they did say that it was the biggest show on the tour. Travis Barker didn't make it through to the end. No drum solo in the encore. Actually walked off before Dammit finished.
What pissed me off was that there was a bunch of kids in the audience, and they like didn't know the Blue album songs or any Blink songs older than The Rock Show. I mean, seriously, who doesn't know Josie?
