Norman Mailer Is Dead.

He is succeeded by six ex-wives, two pulitzer prize-winning novels, one earth-shattering ego, and a valiant disdain for women's lib.

Did you ever go see the norman mailer exhibit at the HRC? that's where I first saw the letter from shel silverstein that changed my view of children's poetry. that was a bad day. and a glorious day.

(when i first read 'norman mailer' i thought 'norman manea' and i freaked because that's my neighbor.)
