i think you want what everyone wants, and what most happily married couples have in various degrees of mutual dependencies. some want to conquer the world together, others are simply content with their afternoon teas, and others just want to marry, to marry.
what's more important to me, and which this touching little clip implies, but can't possibly tackle for a general audience, is that they were obviously willing to deal with eachother's "un-medicate-able" idiosyncrasies (without making eachother feel bad about it), leading up to the point where his body became a singular cancerous organism. he obviously was willing to slow his walk down to the pace of a mule for her. and she clearly, and happily, spent time learning to decipher sounds forced through the hose of phlegm and saliva that is his voice box.
