Title: Close Encounters

*sulks* the world does not end when I write past tense. except in that one story. And that was a long time ago.

This probably explains a lot of the big clunky belt-buckles some guys wear.

The commentary was fascinating. I like how you worked this out, the back and forth between the two men, JohnCluless and Rodney - well, Rodney being Rodney.

That was fascinating to read, thank you! I do so much of my writing completely on an instinctual level, I'd find it hard to justify as many of my choices as you've done yours.

Also, this is a wonderful fic. I am a reality-hor myself, and I appreciate very much how you've handled John's coming to terms with what he has and what he wants with Rodney.
